Obv. Uniformed bust of the Marquis Cornwallis, bare head left, hair in queue. Above: MARQUIS CORNWALLIS BRITISH Below: PLENIPOTENTIARY AT AMIENS.	Rev. Britannia seated holding plaque bearing head of George III. A cherub holding a tablet inscribed with the names of the ministers responsible for drawing up the Treaty of Amiens. POST NUBILA PHOEBUS (Sunshine after clouds). In exergue: DEFINITIVE TREATY / CONCLUDED 1802.

MARQUIS CORNWALLIS. Buste, à gauche, en uniforme. Sous le buste K. & K.	R. POST NUBILA PHŒBUS. Un génie présente à l'Angleterre assise une table, sur laquelle on lit: DINGTON AWKSBURY NWALLIS — NPARTE OTTO. Ce sont les noms des signataires du traité — Addington, Hawksbury, Cornwallis, Buonparte(!), Otto — dont les premières lettres des trois premiers sont cachées par un médaillon du roi George III.
En bas: BRITISH PLENIPOTENTIARY AT AMIENS.	Exergue: DEFINITIVE TREATY CONCLUDED 1802.
Médaille, 37 mm. — T. N. 90, 3; H. m. 26, 53; M. F. 338, 122.
Il existe une variation avec la différence, que le dernier chiffre du millésime 1802 est gravé à rebours et que PLENIPOTENTIARY est écrit PLÉNIPOTENTIARY.

Buste du Mis Cornwallis à gauche.	R. POST NUBILA PHŒBUS. L'Angleterre ass. sous un arbre tenant sur ses genoux un médaillon au buste du roi Georges III. Un génie lui présente un plaque sur laquelle sont gravés les noms des signataires du traité.
