| This example is from the Strasbourg mint. Notice the light 'X' scratched on the reverse. There seems to have been some minor variation in the size of the planchets. The Paris example measures a distinct 27 mm while this one is just as clearly 28 mm. Both examples retain significant reeding on the edge so the difference is not from wear. |
