Legend, PAYABLE AT ROBERT KEELING & SONS
Exergue, GIBRALTAR

Between 1802 and 1810 Mr. Keeling appears to have been joined in the family business by two or more sons. This was noted as the "large date" 1810. Sometime in this eight year period it was decided to change the 'ER' to 'AR' in GIBRALTAR. Also, the value is now 2 quartos, instead of 2 quarts. Finally, in 1802 the name was Keelings and in 1810 it's Keeling.
