Krause says:
"A duchy on the Baltic Sea, near modern day Poland, was founded in the late 11th century. After many divisions, Pomerania was annexed to Sweden in 1637. Bransdeburg-Prussia had an interest in the area and slowly acquired bits until in 1815 all of Pomerania belonged to Prussia. The arms of Pomerania appear on coins of Bransdburg-Prussia from the 17th century onward."
A two year type with rare variants associated with the 1806 issue. This example is distinctly double struck on the reverse particularly toward the top. Mintage was 384,000.
An interesting coin that could, with reason, be classified as Swedish, German or Polish. Krause chooses to put it under the German States.
