Vern's Comments:

This is a fun variant of this medal. The reverse on this example names Frimont as a Field Marshall which he was at the time. At the same time he was becoming a Baron of Austria and this is reflected in the second line of the reverse where the lettering reflects this honor. What I suspect is this particular example was struck, the promotion was pointed out and remaining strikes have the changes noted in the references. So this could be unique or part of a very limited striking.
